Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to establish care first before getting a facial?

Answer: No, you can just book a facial appointment, they are completely separate from standard of care sessions

Do you take insurance?

Answer: No. I am not in network with your insurance provider I can always give you a superbill and reciept that you can submit for reimbursment. There is no fee for this.

What do I do before my session?

Answer: Please eat something at least an hour before receiving acupuncture. The reason for this is that you can get light headed or faint if your blood sugar is too low.

How many sessions will I need?

Answer: This varies, with acute injury and pain I usually like to see people at least 2 times a week until the pain is gone. This can mean 2-10 sessions usually. For severe illness coming in 2 times a week is also recommended until you are feeling better. For chronic illness or palliative care I recommend coming in 1 time a week for 1-3 years, and then tapering from there. Acupuncture is cumulative so the more you come the faster you will see results.
